This SUNDAY, 18th DECEMBER sees the arrival of Santa at 5.00pm followed by our annual Family Christmas Charity Quiz in aid of Great Ormond Street and Riding for the Disabled at 6.00pm

Yes you did read this correctly – We are delighted to announce that due to popular demand and the over whelming clamor for a repeat of last year; Father Christmas really is coming to Kirtling, here at the Red Lion.  He asks that you bring your little ones to meet him at 5pm so he can give them a small pressie (a donation of £3.00 is requested for this) 

Again, as last year, his departure will be followed by a fun family quiz and raffle. It really should be a fabulous evening for all the family, a really great way to kick off the festive season and a great fun way to raise money for charity.

Wednesday 21st December – Do come and join us for the quintessential pub experience – Carol singing by the fabulous Kitchen Choir, starting at 7.00pm, raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Friday 23rd December is our Biggest ever Grand Raffle Draw, perhaps the final fund raiser of the year for our Charity of the year, West Suffolk Riding for the Disabled.  The winning tickets may not have been sold yet, so let me remind you of the fabulous prizes that could be yours for just £1.00;-

1^st Prize – A day at Adnam’s Distillery to make your own bottle of gin (Travel not included).

2^nd Prize – Bottle of Newmarket 350 Gin

3^rd Prize – A Cleaning Voucher from Rothwells

*** NEW EVENT *** WEDNESDAY 28TH DECEMBER; we are delighted to announce that we have been offered the fabulous American band 'Dusty – Low' to play a gig here, starting at 8pm. New Years Eve is fast approaching –  we have a few tickets still available and at only £15 pp for food, a glass of fizz at Midnight, bacon Rolls at 00:30 AND dance the night away.  We have a limited number of tickets so please book early to avoid disappointment.
