Please see below an update from Hazel and Steve on what is happening at the Red Lion over the festive season.<\/p>\n

Greetings Everyone,<\/p>\n

Hope you are all keeping warm in the cold weather!! Just a reminder of what is coming up:-<\/p>\n

To start the run up to Christmas, we are delighted to let you know that The Kitchen Choir will be returning to sing Christmas Carols on Wednesday 16th December; singing starts at 7pm – do join us for Mulled Wine and Warmed Mince Pies.<\/p>\n

Sunday 20th December is our Family Charity Quiz. We are doing things a little different this time and we will be starting at 5pm with a visit from the great man himself – Father Christmas!! Please let us know if you are coming along with your children as we have small gifts for the under 5’s which Father Christmas will be giving out and if you are bringing older children, please bring a small gift for them for Father Christmas to give to your child.<\/p>\n

New Years Tickets are now available at £10 per head and includes a buffet at 9pm, fizz at midnight and bacon rolls at 00:30. Come and dance away 2015 and see in 2016 with us. Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis.<\/p>\n

In January we will be kicking off with Winter Warming Wednesdays – we will be serving hand made stone baked pizzas at only £10 for 2. Rebekah, our newest staff member is a fully trained pizza maker and will be making these to order. Lots of delicious toppings to chose from.<\/p>\n

On Thursdays we will continue with our ever popular steak special – 2 rump steaks with all the trimmings including a bottle of house red or white wine for £29.<\/p>\n

There are still a few squares left for our fabulous Charity Christmas Draw – First prize £100! Draw at 8.00pm on 23rd December. Our two charities for next year will be Riding for the Disabled and Kirtling Cricket Club.<\/p>\n
