Recycling Bins<\/b><\/u><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Blue Bins<\/b><\/u><\/font><\/font> – From 1st February 2018 residents in East Cambridgeshire can request a second blue bin for a one-off administration fee of £25 – with no additional cost for it to be emptied.  Collections will start from April, and any additional blue bin will be collected alongside your normal blue bin collection.
Residents of East Cambridgeshire are encouraged to take up the offer of the second blue bin to help the council achieve its 60% recycling rate target.<\/p>\n

You can also order your bin at <\/font><\/font>http:\/\/eastcambs.gov.uk\/content\/additional-blue-bin<\/font><\/a><\/u><\/font> or by
telephoning East Cambridgeshire District Council 01353 665555<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Green Bins<\/b><\/u><\/font><\/font> – Additional garden waste bins are also available in return for payment of an annual licence fee, currently £48 from 1st April (pro rata throughout the year).<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

For those with an interest in where the rubbish goes, Amey Cespa at Waterbeach, do a very interesting, free, two hour visit around their recycling plant.   A worthwhile visit to see what actually happens to the rubbish and recycling. <\/font><\/font>https:\/\/wasteservices.amey.co.uk\/<\/font><\/a><\/u><\/font>   <\/font><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n
