Just want to say a massive Thank You for your support over the last year and we look forward to another great year ahead of us.<\/div>\n

We also want to let you know that we will be closed this week until Sunday 8th January when we will reopen for Sunday Lunch at 12:00 and usual hours will resume next week.<\/div>\n

Kirtling Village Hall are hosting a Panto and it looks FANTASTIC and great fun for all the family to!<\/div>\n

1,000 years ago, there was no place like England for a good story\u2026 because there was no place called England!<\/p>\n

This was a time of huge battles, because the Saxons and the Vikings hated each other. So when a Viking called Cnut tried to be the king of the Saxons too, the Saxons weren't happy.<\/p>\n

But when a stranger turns up at their door, a grumbly Saxon and his son Aethelred decide to let him in. Soon, they're all sharing stories about giants, gods, and magic \u2013 and discover some surprising secrets about each other\u2026<\/p>\n

\u200bCan Vikings and Saxons be friends? Will Aethelred see his mother again? And just why is King Cnut dressed like\u00a0that<\/em><\/strong>?<\/p>\n

\u200bFind out in the tale of\u00a0The First King of England\u2026 in a Dress<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\u200bA fun-packed family storytelling show including puppetry, music from a "genuine" electro-acoustic Anglo-Saxon lyre\u2026 and\u00a0plenty<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0of joining in!<\/p>\n

At kirtling Village Hall on Saturday, 14 January at 3pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n
