This SUNDAY, 18th DECEMBER sees the arrival of Santa at 5.00pm followed by<\/b>\u00a0our\u00a0annual Family Christmas Charity Quiz<\/b>\u00a0in aid of Great Ormond Street and Riding for the Disabled at 6.00pm<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Yes you did read this correctly – We are delighted to announce that due to popular demand and the over whelming clamor for a repeat of last year; Father Christmas really is coming to Kirtling, here at the Red Lion.\u00a0 He asks that you bring your little ones to meet him at 5pm so he can give them a small pressie (a donation of \u00a33.00 is requested for this)\u00a0<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Again, as last year, his departure will be followed by a fun family quiz and raffle. It really should be a fabulous evening for all the family, a really great way to kick off the festive season and a great fun way to raise money for charity.<\/div>\n

Wednesday 21st December <\/font><\/b>– Do come and join us for the quintessential pub experience – Carol singing <\/b>by the fabulous Kitchen Choir, starting at 7.00pm, raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance.<\/div>\n

Friday 23rd December is our Biggest ever Grand Raffle Draw, <\/b>perhaps the final fund raiser of the year for our Charity of the year, West Suffolk Riding for the Disabled.\u00a0 The winning tickets may not have been sold yet, so let me remind you of the fabulous prizes that could be yours for just \u00a31.00;-<\/div>\n

*** NEW EVENT *** WEDNESDAY 28TH DECEMBER; we are delighted to announce that we have been offered the fabulous American band 'Dusty – Low' to play a gig here, starting at 8pm. <\/font>They have recently toured across\u00a0South America and we really are lucky to have them popping in to do an acoustic set with us.\u00a0 This will be a relaxed evening of fabulous music from across the pond.\u00a0 Don't miss this ONE OFF EVENT.\u00a0 Click on the link to see what you can expect:- \u00a0www.facebook.com\/Dusty-Low-142710212456907\/<\/a>.\u00a0 We do expect this to be a very popular evening so early arrival is recommended.<\/span><\/div>\n

New Years Eve<\/b>\u00a0is fast approaching – \u00a0we have a few tickets still available and at only \u00a315 pp for food, a glass of fizz at Midnight, bacon Rolls at 00:30 AND dance the night away.\u00a0 We have a limited number of tickets so please book early to avoid disappointment. \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We have also said goodbye to Ollie who has worked tirelessly in our kitchen washing up for nearly 2 years and wish him well on his future career path, and we say HELLO to another Ollie who is taking his place at the kitchen sink – WELCOME \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0We are still looking for Kitchen staff – training will be given.<\/div>\n
