In addition, there is also an historic,&nbsp;unfilled vacancy from 2014.&nbsp;Any person willing to fill these&nbsp;vacancies&nbsp;should apply to the Clerk in writing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The applicant&rsquo;s name must appear on the current register of the Voters&rsquo; List or the applicant should during the whole of the twelve months preceding the relevant date have resided in or within three miles of the parish, or the applicant&rsquo;s only place of work during the whole of the twelve months preceding the relevant date must have been in the parish. The applicant must not be debarred from standing as a Councillor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a great opportunity to get involved in the affairs of the local community with such matters as local planning, promoting local schemes and being involved with local activities and concerns.
