We were on the Chris Mann Drive Time show for a whole hour on Monday this week publicising the pub and our award \u00a0– \u00a0this was good fun and can be heard at:-<\/div>\n

Our Easter Family Quiz was again well supported and raised over \u00a3133 in aid of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, well done and thank you Jake.<\/div>\n

With the onset of spring we are going to suspend The Wednesday Pizza offer until later in the year. But we will be getting the bouncy castle out on sunny weekends and school holidays!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We have a fantastic new red wine selection and are looking for interesting suggestions for specific themed food nights for the run up to summer.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Looking further ahead, we have some great events for your diary;-<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On Saturday 11th June we are hosting an afternoon of Jazz and Afternoon Tea to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. \u00a0 All profits from this event will be going towards Riding for the Disabled based in Barrow.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On Thursday, 16th June, we have our first Morris Dancers entertaining us with music and dance.\u00a0 We will be doing a reduced price Fish n Chips for the night so do come along this is great fun.\u00a0 The Devils Dykes will be dancing from 8.30 and Fish n Chips will be available from 6pm.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On Friday, 5th August the World Famous Belchamp Morris Dancers will be performing for us again.\u00a0 This is such a great event and once the dancing has ceased outside, then the music, singing and good old fashioned fun commences inside (not for the feint hearted!!!)<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On Sunday, 28th August is our Annual One Day Beer Festival. \u00a0 There will be live music, BBQ, bouncy castle and delicious beers to try – further details to follow.<\/div>\n
