NHS Hearing Aid Clinics<\/a><\/p>\n Newmarket Police Station tel: 01473 613500 Cheveley Primary School<\/a> and Bottisham village Colleg<\/a>e are the two catchment schools for the parish. A bus is provided to\/from both schools.<\/p>\n However, children from Kirtling and Upend also attend Kettlefields Primary School<\/a> as it is a similar distance to Cheveley. There is no bus service though.<\/p>\n The nearest train stations are Dullingham and Newmarket. Trains to Cambridge are approximately 1 an hour but not all stop at Dullingham. Each household is provided with a green and blue wheelie bin for recycling. These are collected alternately every Tuesday. For the latest collection calendar please visit the East Cambridgeshire Refuse page<\/a>.<\/p>\n From 1st February 2018 residents in East Cambridgeshire can request a second blue bin for a one-off administration fee of \u00a325 – with no additional cost for it to be emptied.\u00a0\u00a0You can order your bin at http:\/\/eastcambs.gov.uk\/content\/additional-blue-bin or by telephoning East Cambridgeshire District Council 01353 665555<\/p>\n Green Bins – Additional garden waste bins are also available in return for payment of an annual licence fee, currently \u00a348 from 1st April (pro rata throughout the year).<\/p>\n The council provide a roll of black bags once a year.<\/p>\n Cambridge Mobile library calls at the Kirtling Red Lion\u00a0from 12.40 \u2013 12.55 every second Thursday of the month. It is free to join and borrow books including large print and audio books.<\/p>\n The nearest Cambridgeshire Council Recycling Centre is located at Milton. There are also recycling centres in Mildenhall and Haverhill.<\/p>\n The nearest shop for general supplies is Cheveley Village Stores which also has a post office.\u00a0There is also a post office at the Ellesmere Centre which is open week-day mornings.<\/p>\n The Ellesmere Centre <\/a>provides high quality and affordable facilities for everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n Fully wheelchair accessible and with plenty of parking, it is a friendly and welcoming venue \u2013 the first choice for community events.<\/p>\n Facilities include:<\/p>\n Many classes and events are available for all ages and abilities \u2013 you will find the information you need about them on this website.
