It is a quiet rural community surrounded by attractive rolling countryside and mixed woodland. The villages contain many historic buildings. On both occasions we found the pub very friendly and welcoming. A big plus for us is being able to take our dog inside. To find such a lovely pub that serves good food in a fairly rural location is great these days.
